At Trent University , all eligible graduate students are guaranteed minimum support levels to ensure you are able to focus on your studies.
- Scholarships, fellowships and other merit awards from governmental, industrial and other granting bodies in Canada .
- University entrance awards, academic scholarships, and tuition bursaries.
- Graduate Teaching Assistantships (GTAs) for a maximum of four terms - M.A./M.Sc. (maximum six terms - Ph.D.), normally spanning two (three - Ph.D.) consecutive undergraduate academic years, for teaching and/or laboratory demonstrating.
- Research Assistantships (RAs) with faculty members who hold research grants.
- Loans from the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP)
Apart from scholarships, there are several ways to fund your education at Trent . International students are now permitted to work off-campus in Canada after one year of study. All international students can work for up to twenty hours a week on campus, in areas like athletics, conferences , food services, in the library, and as research assistants. |
